Under the current no-fault procedure, the shortest realistic timescale is around six to seven months once proceedings are issued, though financial matters can take longer to resolve.

Will I have to go to court?

Family work is typically charged on an hourly basis with a written estimate at each stage. Fixed fees are available for defined pieces of work such as consent orders. We will set out fees, disbursements and VAT in writing before you commit.
